Wet Spraying Purification Tower

Wet Spraying Purification Tower, also known as spray tower. An absorption tower with no packing or tray inside, but equipped with nozzles. The liquid enters from the top of the tower and is sprayed into mist or raindrops through a nozzle; Gas enters from the lower part of the tower and comes into close contact with misty or raindrop like liquids for mass transfer, allowing soluble components in the gas to be absorbed. The structure is simple, not easily blocked, has low resistance, and is easy to operate and maintain.

The wet Spraying Purification Tower (spray tower) is a simple equipment for gas absorption. In the spray tower, the liquid is a dispersed phase and the gas is a continuous phase. Generally, the gas-liquid ratio is small, which is suitable for the absorption process of extremely fast or rapid chemical reaction.

The dusty gas flows upward, and the liquid droplets are ejected from the nozzle and move downward. The larger dust particles are captured by the liquid droplets through mechanisms such as inertial collision, contact retention, and dust aggregation due to humidification. When the gas flow rate is low, droplets carrying particles sink to the bottom of the tower due to gravity. The purified gas is discharged from the top through a water purifier to remove small liquid droplets carried by it.
