A rotary feeder is a quantitative feeding device used to continuously and uniformly feed dry powdered or small particle materials from the upper silo to the next equipment.The following is an introduction to it:

Structure and Principle

Structural composition:mainly composed of the main valve(including housing,end cover,impeller,sealing structure,etc.),motor reducer,protective device(such as sprocket,sprocket cover,etc.),exhaust port,etc.

Working principle:The motor is driven by a reducer to rotate the impeller with an equally divided structure inside the housing.The material is filled into the impeller cavity from the upper material bin or feeding device of the housing,and is discharged downstream uniformly and continuously as the impeller rotates to the lower part of the housing.

Type and Characteristics

Gravity discharge type:relying on the material's own gravity to fall into the impeller cavity,suitable for materials with good fluidity and high density,with a simple structure and low cost.

Pneumatic conveying type:In conjunction with pneumatic conveying systems,it uses airflow to transport materials downstream,achieving long-distance,high head conveying and strong adaptability to materials.

Wear resistant type:The shell and impeller are made of wear-resistant materials,such as high chromium cast iron,ceramics,etc.,which can transport materials with high hardness and strong abrasion resistance,extending the service life of the equipment.

application area

Chemical industry:used for conveying various powdered and granular chemical raw materials,such as fertilizers,plastic pellets,pigments,etc.

Power industry:In coal-fired power plants,coal powder can be transported from the raw coal bunker to the boiler burner,and also used to transport waste such as fly ash.

Building materials industry:commonly used in the cement production process to transport raw materials such as limestone,clay,gypsum,etc.to equipment such as mills and rotary kilns.It can also be used to transport building materials such as sand,gravel,and powder.

Grain processing industry:Grain,beans and other grain raw materials can be transported from warehouses to processing equipment such as flour mills,oil presses,etc.
