Dust Filter

There are many types of dust Filter, including thin and long and thick and short. A slender filter cartridge (such as a diameter ≤ 160, L=1-2m) with large gaps and angles between its pleats (such as 45 pleats), fewer and shallower pleats, and a filtration area 2-5 times larger than filter bags of the same diameter and length. It is easy to clean and has good results; Suitable for filtering and dust removal of dust with a concentration of ≥ 15g/m, with a filtering wind speed of 0.6-1.2m/min. Coarse and short filter cartridges (such as φ 350, L=0.66m) have a large diameter, short length, multiple pleats (120-350 pleats), deep pleats, small gaps between pleats, and a large filtration area, which is 14-35 times larger than the filter bag area of the same diameter and length. They are suitable for placement in places with small site areas and spaces; However, due to the small folding angle, dust is prone to accumulate and difficult to clean. It is suitable for filtering and dust removal of dust with a concentration of ≤ 5g/m, and the filtering wind speed should not be greater than 0.6m/min.

There are three installation methods for filter cartridge pulse dust collectors: vertical, inclined, and horizontal installation. The filter cartridge is installed vertically, and during pulse cleaning, dust is prone to fall and settle into the ash hopper, which has a good effect. When installed at an angle, the filter cartridges are stacked on top of each other, with a compact structure and small footprint, making it easy to replace the cartridges. However, when cleaning the dust, the dust from the upper filter cartridge settles on the lower filter cartridge, making it difficult to remove. Horizontal installation makes it more difficult to remove dust from the upper part of the lower filter cartridge. The inclined installation filter cartridge dust collector is suitable for non viscous, low concentration, and coarse dust removal in small and medium-sized dust removal systems, as well as for the renovation of some old-fashioned bag dust collectors.
