Rotary Valve 

Introduction
The rotary valve is also called unloader or discharging valve. It is composed of rotor impeller, casing, seal, reducer, motor, etc. Its inlet and outlet flanges are available in two types: round and square.
As kind of environmental protection equipment, it is widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, grain, cement, road construction, drying equipment and other industrial projects.
Working principle
The material in the upper silo falls on the blade, the blade rotor is driven by the motor through the
rotating shaft of the reducer, and the impeller rotates to the lower part and the dust is discharged
by its own weight. Therefore, the rotary valve can discharge material quantitatively and
continuously.
Features
1. Equipped with cycloid reducer for direct-connected transmission, the overall structure is
compact, stable and reliable, and easy to maintain and maintain;
2. The bearing seat is displaced to the outside of the valve body to cut off the direct source of dust
particles, prolong the service life of the bearing and facilitate maintenance.

Use and maintenance
1. The unloader is filled with lubricating oil and grease before leaving the factory. After 6 months of
normal use, the transmission and bearing parts should be supplemented or replaced with grease;
if the installation environment is in a high temperature or too much dust, the replacement should
be shortened oil time.
2. During the transportation and installation of the rotary valve, it should be kept stable, avoid
collision, and even cause the shell to break and deform.

3. When the output shaft and input shaft of the rotary valve are matched with other parts, they
cannot be hammered to prevent damage;
4. Before using the rotary valve, check the quantity and type of lubricating oil in the reducer,
replace the new oil after one month of operation, and change the oil once a year thereafter.
5. Before using the rotary valve, make sure that the rotation direction of the rotor is clockwise
(viewed from the shaft end of the reducer, it is consistent with the arrow on the sprocket cover);
6. Before using the rotary valve, open the sprocket cover to check the tension of the chain, and
check it regularly during operation: apply suitable grease to the chain and sprocket at the same
time:
7. Connect the air source interface, and check whether the interface is blocked by foreign objects.

8. During the operation of the unloader, if the material particles are large or the viscosity is strong,
the equipment will be overloaded. The user should install an overload protection device or replace
the high-power motor.
9. During the use of the rotary valve, if the equipment has air leakage or ash leakage along the
axial direction, the screw of the pressing cover should be tightened or the asbestos packing should
be replaced.
10. Inspection and maintenance should be carried out with the rotary valve closed.
